HygienEase Dental Hygiene Practice was founded in 2022 with the mission of providing comprehensive in-home dental hygiene services. We’re excited to announce that in February 2025, we will be opening our first physical location. Making our care accessible to all communities. At HygienEase Dental, we are committed to offering a premium preventive care experience in a relaxing and calming environment. Our skilled dental hygienist is dedicated and trained to ease dental anxiety, ensuring a comfortable visit every time. A consultation is conducted to help the practitioner, patient, and support team get acquainted and determine the best treatment plan.
Medical Health and Dental History Review
An in-depth review of the patient's medical and dental history is performed.
Comprehensive Oral and Dental Assessment
A thorough examination of the patient's oral health is conducted.
Oral Cancer Screening
Each appointment includes an evaluation of the head, neck, and mouth for any abnormalities.
Dental Hygiene Treatment Care Plan
A personalized dental care plan is created to address the patient's specific needs.
Preventative Services
- Oral Prophylaxis (Dental Cleaning): Cleaning of plaque and deposits above the gum line.
- Denture Cleaning: Professional cleaning of dentures.
- Fluoride Treatments: Application of fluoride to strengthen teeth
- Oral Health Education and Instructions: Customized hygiene instructions are provided for patients and their caregivers.
Therapeutic Services
- Non-Surgical Periodontal Therapies: Treatment for gum disease with topical anesthetic or local antesthesia.
- Deep Scaling and Root Planing: Cleaning beneath the gum line to remove plaque and tartar.
- Silver diamine fluoride (SDF): a topical treatment used in dentistry to prevent and arrest tooth decay.
- ITR (Interim Therapeutic Restoration): a temporary filling used to manage cavities and relieve symptoms until a permanent restoration can be provided, especially in pediatric dentistry or for patients with limited access to care.
Perio Maintenance
Ongoing recall appointments are scheduled following deep cleaning to maintain oral health.
Dentist Referral/Report
After completing the comprehensive dental assessment, if restorative services are needed, we can refer our clients to one of our trusted, licensed dentists, or we can send the assessment to client's current dentist.
In-Home services
HygienEase Dental will continue to provide in-home preventative dental hygiene care to patients who cannot physically travel to the traditional dental office.
